How PD Avengers Uses Your Photos and Videos
When you share your Spark the Night photos and videos with PD Avengers, you’re helping us show the world the strength and unity of the Parkinson’s community.
By submitting or uploading photos or videos to PD Avengers for Spark the Night (including via email, Dropbox, or other tools), you:
Confirm that you created the content or have permission to share it
Grant PD Avengers and its partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, and share it in any media (such as our website, social media, presentations, and future Spark the Night promotions) to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease
Confirm that anyone clearly identifiable in the images/videos has agreed to this use, and that if children appear, you are their parent/guardian or have their parent/guardian’s permission
If at any time you would like us to stop using a particular photo or video going forward, please contact us at Larry@PDAvengers.com. While we can’t change materials that have already been printed or shared, we will stop using the content in future materials and will remove it from our website and social media where reasonably possible.
Bringing Light to World Parkinson’s Night
As part of SPARK THE NIGHT, cities around the world will partner with local leaders to illuminate buildings and iconic landmarks in blue, symbolizing support for Parkinson’s disease. Our goal is to light 12 million blue lights—one for each of the more than 12 million people living with Parkinson’s worldwide.
World Parkinson's Night is an annual global event that unites communities worldwide to raise awareness, support, and solidarity for those living with Parkinson's disease. This inspiring gathering serves as a beacon of hope, bringing together individuals, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals in a shared mission to empower and uplift the Parkinson’s community.
Abbvie has been a proud partner with us in sponsoring Spark the Night and many other webinars in the past with PD Avengers. Their commitment to preserving personhood of people around the world living with Parkinson’s disease is unwavering.
